Adding Oil Theengineis shippedwithoutoil in theengine.Youmustfill the enginewith oil beforeoperating.Runningthe enginewith insufficient oil can causeseriousenginedamageand void the productwarranty. . Placethe snowthroweron a flat, levelsurface. 2. Removetheoil fillercap/dipstickand wipethe dipstickclean. See Figure3. f.- NOTE:Do notoverfill.Overfillingtheengine with oil may resultin the engine smoking,hard startingor spark plugfouling. ADJUSTMENTS Chute Assembly The pitch of thechute assemblycontrolstheangle at whichthe snow isthrown. 1. Loosenthewing knobfoundon the left sideof the chuteassemblyand pivot the upperchute upwardor downwardto the desired pitch.Retightenthe wingknobbeforeoperatingthesnow thrower. See Figure5. Figure3 NOTE:Donot screwinthe dipstickwhencheckingthe oil level. 3. Slowlyadd oil untilthe oil level registersbetweenhigh (H) and low (L) on thedipstick,Figure4.
