Setting FM Radio Stations Connecting to the NOMAD Web Site Upgrading the Player's Firmware To set FM radio stations: 1. In the NOMAD II window, click the Settings button . 2. In the Settings window, click the Radio Presets tab. 3. Type the frequency in the box; for example, 94.45. Click OK. You can set as many as 32 FM radio presets. Presets can also be set and modified on the Player display (see "To preset FM radio stations:" on page 16). For information on FM stations and a list of frequencies for the stations in your area, visit wmbr.mit.edu/stations/statemap.html on the Internet. To connect to the NOMAD web site: 1. Connect to the Internet. 2. If you have a NOMADWorld banner displayed at the bottom of the Player window, click on it. Or, click on the Internet button to make your connection to the NOMAD web site. Or, type the URL address into your browser's Location box and press the ENTER key. You must have a Internet service provider in order to make the Internet connection. To upgrade the Player: 1. Connect to the Internet. 2. Navigate to www.NOMADWorld.com. 3. On the NOMADWorld home page, click on Software Downloads. 4. Under Downloads, look for an upgrade to NOMAD II Player (or Manager). Follow the instructions on the web site to download the upgrade file. 5. Open the NOMAD II Manager menu by clicking on the name at the top of the Player window. 6. On the menu, click on Download Firmware. 7. On the Choose a File dialog, select the folder into which the firmware upgrade was downloaded. 8. When the upgrade file is located, select it and click the Open button. A box opens on your computer screen while the upgrade is taking place; a series of messages appear on the Player display. 9. Setting FM Radio
Stations
To set FM radio stations:
1.
In the NOMAD II window, click the Settings button
.
2.
In the Settings window, click the Radio Presets tab.
3.
Type the frequency in the box; for example, 94.45.
Click OK.

Connecting to the
NOMAD Web Site
To connect to the NOMAD web site:
1.
Connect to the Internet.
2.
If you have a NOMADWorld banner displayed at the bottom of the Player window, click on it.

Upgrading the
Player’s Firmware
To upgrade the Player:
1.
Connect to the Internet.
2.
Navigate to
www.NOMADWorld.com
.
3.
On the NOMADWorld home page, click on Software Downloads.
4.
Under Downloads, look for an upgrade to NOMAD II Player (or Manager).
Follow the instructions on the
web site to download the upgrade file.
5.
Open the NOMAD II Manager menu by clicking on the name at
the top of the Player window.
6.
On the menu, click on Download Firmware.
7.

firmware upgrade was downloaded.
8.
When the upgrade file is located, select it and click the Open
button.
A box opens on your computer screen while the upgrade
