Deck Removal Remove the mower deck from the tractor as follows: 4. Pull the cotter pins out of the four deck lift adjustment brackets. See Figure 7-5. 1. Move the tractor to a level surface, disengage the PTO, stop the engine, and set the parking brake. 2. Place the deck lift pedal in the lowest mowing position and replace the lock pin in front of pedal in the deck height bracket and secure by locking the lock pin. See Figure 7-3. Figure 7-3 5. Slide the links off the pins. 3. Using a 1⁄2" drive in the idler pulley bracket, turn the wrench towards the back of the tractor and slide the belt off the PTO pulley. See Figure 7-4. NOTE: It may be easier to place the deck lift pedal in the transport position when sliding the deck out from underneath the tractor. 6. Jack up the rear-end of the tractor using the rear bumper. Deck Removal
Remove the mower deck from the tractor as follows:
1.
Move the tractor to a level surface, disengage the PTO, stop
the engine, and set the parking brake.
2.
Place the deck lift pedal in the lowest mowing position and
replace the lock pin in front of pedal in the deck height
bracket and secure by locking the lock pin. See Figure 7-3.

Using a 1⁄²
” drive in the idler pulley bracket, turn the wrench
towards the back of the tractor and slide the belt off the
PTO pulley. See Figure 7-4.

CAUTION:

Slide the links off the pins.
NOTE:
It may be easier to place the deck lift pedal in

6.
Jack up the rear-end of the tractor using the rear bumper.
7.
Slide the deck out from underneath the tractor to the right
side.
