DGS-3100 Series Gigabit Stackable Managed Switch User Manual Defining EAP Forwarding Settings Ports use the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) forwarding mechanism when 802.1x authentication is disabled. The Forwarding EAP Page allows the user to enable or disable forwarding EAP packets to an authentication server. 1. Click Security > 802.1X > Forwarding EAP. Forwarding EAP Page The Forwarding EAP Page contains the following field: Field Description Forwarding EAP Specifies whether forwarding of EAP packets is enabled on the device.
