DGS-3100 Series Gigabit Stackable Managed Switch User Manual Configuring LACP LAG ports can contain different media types if the ports are operating at the same speed. Aggregated links can be set up manually or automatically established by enabling LACP on the relevant links. Aggregate ports can be linked into linkaggregation port-groups. Each group is comprised of ports with the same speed. The LACP Port Settings Page contains fields for configuring LACP LAGs. 1. Click L2 features > LACP Port Settings. The LACP Port Settings Page opens: Figure 3-10. LACP Port Settings Page The LACP Port Settings Page contains the following fields: Field Unit Description Defines the stacking member's Unit ID for which LACP parameters are displayed. From Port Defines the first port number that is displayed to which timeout and priority values are assigned. To Port Defines the last port number that is displayed to which timeout and priority values are assigned. Port-Priority (1-65535) Displays the LACP priority value for the port. The field range is 1-65535. Timeout Defines the administrative LACP timeout. The possible field values are: Short (3 Sec) - Defines the LACP timeout as 3 seconds. Long (90 Sec) - Defines the LACP timeout as 90 seconds. (This is the default value). 2. Select a stacking member in the Unit field. 3. Select the ports to and from which the LACP parameters are displayed in the From/To Port fields. 4. Define the Port-Priority and LACP Timeout fields. 5. Click . The LACP parameters are defined, and the device is updated. 68
