Section 4: Configuration Configuration Using the Configuration Interface The camera's built-in Web configuration utility allows you to easily access and configure your DCS-2132L. In order to access the interface, you must enter the IP address of your camera into a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari). The simplest way to acquire the camera's IP address is to get it from the summary screen at the end of the Camera Setup Wizard. If you did not use the wizard and would like to, refer to "Camera Installation Wizard" on page 12. Note: If you prefer not to use the Camera Setup Wizard, you can get the camera's IP address from your router. When you see the login window, enter the User name admin and the password you created while using the Setup Wizard. If you did not create a password, the default password is blank. Configuration
Using the Configuration Interface
The camera’s built-in Web configuration utility allows you to easily access and configure your DCS-2132L. In order to access the interface, you must
enter the IP address of your camera into a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari). The simplest way to acquire the camera's IP
address is to get it from the summary screen at the end of the Camera Setup Wizard. If you did not use the wizard and would like to, refer to
"Camera
Installation Wizard" on page 12
.
Note:
If you prefer not to use the Camera Setup Wizard, you can get the camera's IP address from your router.
