Using IP surveillance Software (continued) Monitor Program (continued) Modulation Mode You must select the input signal format (NTSC or PAL) for displaying the original resolution of video stream from DCS5300W. NOTE: You need to select the input signal format according to the camera type or CCD module type that is connected to the DCS-5300W. Due to the nature of CMOS sensors (for the DCS-2000 and DCS-2100+), the input signal format needs to be set to PAL regardless whether the power line frequency connected is 50 or 60 Hz. Display Options: In the video displaying frame of each channel, there are two status bars. The upper bar contains "Camera location" and "time of the remote site." The lower bar contains "Connection time" and "Recording time." All of them, shown in the figure below, can be enabled or disabled here individually for the status indication. Apply to full screen mode can also be turned on here. Once it has been checked, the status bar in each channel showing date, location, connection, and recording time will be shown in both display frame mode and full screen mode.
