Fast Ethernet Switching System User's Guide Rear Panel The three pronged power plug, ventilation fan and the on/off switch are located at the rear of the DES-5016 displayed in Figure 4. The switch will work with AC in the range 100240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. The power requirements are indicated on the rear panel of the DES5016. When installing the DES-5016, leave enough room to allow you to plug in the power cable. There are heat vents located on the sides. The fans and the vents help to cool the DES5016.
