More than one person is required to raise the hood into place. The owner is responsible to make sure the hood is properly installed. 1. Start by removing the filters from the bottom of the hood. Put them in a safe location so that they will not be damaged. 2. If the hood will be installed in a top exhaust configuration, skip to page 16. If the hood will be installed so that air will exhaust out of the back, the blowers must be rotated into the correct position before hanging the hood. The procedure for rotating the blower depends on the hood model number. See the table at the right.
