IPv6 menu Use the following menu items to view or set the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) information. Note: This menu is available only for network models or printers attached to print servers. This menu is available from the Network/Ports menu: Network/Ports ª Standard Network or Network ª Std Network Setup or Net Setup ª IPv6 Menu item Enable IPv6 On Off Auto Configuration On Off View Hostname View Address View Router Address Enable DHCPv6 On Off Description Enables IPv6 in the printer Note: On is the factory default setting. Specifies whether the network adapter accepts the automatic IPv6 address configuration entries provided by a router Note: On is the factory default setting. Lets you view the current setting Note: These settings can be changed only from the Embedded Web Server. Enables DHCPv6 in the printer Note: On is the factory default setting. This menu is available from the Network/Ports menu: Network/Ports ª Network ª Net Setup ª Wireless Menu item Network Mode Infrastructure Ad hoc Compatibility 802.11n 802.11b/g 802.11b/g/n Choose Network View Signal Quality Description Specifies the network mode Notes: • Infrastructure mode lets the printer access a network using an access point. • Ad hoc is the factory default setting. Ad hoc mode configures the printer for wireless networking directly between it and a computer.
