Title Field Description The table at the bottom of the panel shows how space is being used for the pool selected in the table above. Replica Set Placement Initial replica set placement by storage pools Add Modify Delete Displays the current placement mapping between the source pools and the destination pools. The last row of the list contains an asterisk if a mapping has not been specified. It is blank if a mapping is invalid. Adds a placement mapping between the source pool and the destination pool. Changes the placement mapping between the source pool and the destination pool. Deletes the placement mapping between the source pool and the destination pool. You cannot delete the default mapping (the one with an asterisk as the source pool). Also, deleting a custom mapping causes the relevant source pool to revert to the default mapping, and deleting a mapping has no effect on any existing replica sets. (The previous mapping continues to apply to new replicas that are added to existing replica sets.) Validate primary pool names(shortcut: Alt+V) Secondary system attempts to contact the primary system to confirm that the specified pools exist. (The system does not verify the names automatically because the primary system might not be accessible.) NOTE: Placement mapping is not guaranteed in the following circumstances: • If you later change the names of the pools or merge the pools on the primary site - Placement is not updated automatically to reflect these changes; the default mapping applies. • The setting is for the initial placement of a replica set - Replica sets stay in the destination storage pool even if the volume in the primary site is moved to another pool or you change the name of the primary pool. Manage Replication Services Dialog Box Table 310. Manage Replication Services Dialog Box Field Description Enable Volume Replication Performs replication on volumes in the configured group. Enable NAS Replication Performs replication on NAS containers in the configured group. To use NAS replication, you must configure both inbound and outbound passwords. NAS replication can be performed only if both replication partners contain NAS containers. Shortcut Alt+V Alt+E Manage Tags Dialog Box Table 311. Manage Tags Dialog Box Field Description Tags and values Displays the tags and their values, if any, for a volume. The two types of tags available are simple tags (tags with no values) or extended tags (tags with one or more values). Shortcut None Reference: GUI Panels, Wizards, and Dialog Boxes 473
