Prerequisites 1 Remove the battery. 2 Remove the base cover. 3 Remove the memory module(s). 4 Remove the wireless card. 5 Remove the hard drive. 6 Remove the keyboard. 7 Remove the palm rest. 8 Remove the I/O board. Procedure 1 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board. 2 Note the speaker-cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides. 52
