Prerequisites 1 Remove the battery. 2 Remove the base cover. 3 Remove the keyboard. 4 Remove the memory module(s). 5 Remove the wireless card. 6 Remove the hard drive. Procedure 1 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 7 in "Removing the Palm Rest". 2 Peel the tape from the power-button board. 3 Remove the screw that secures the power-button board to the palm rest. 4 Note the power-button cable routing and peel the cable from the palm rest. 43
