Procedure 1 Connect the display cable to the display-panel connector. 2 Adhere the tape that secures the display cable. 3 Gently place the display panel on the display back-cover and align the screw holes on the display panel with the screw holes on the display back-cover. 4 Replace the screws that secure the display panel to the display backcover. Post-requisites 1 Replace the display hinges. 2 Replace the display bezel. 3 Replace the display assembly. 4 Replace the system board. 5 Replace the palm rest. 6 Replace the hard drive. 7 Replace the wireless card. 8 Replace the memory module(s). 9 Replace the base cover. 10 Replace the keyboard. 11 Replace the optical drive. 12 Replace the battery. 82

Procedure

Connect the display cable to the display-panel connector.

Adhere the tape that secures the display cable.

Gently place the display panel on the display back-cover and align the
screw holes on the display panel with the screw holes on the display
back-cover.
