Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the battery. 3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in removing the hard drive. 4 Remove the fan. 5 Remove the keyboard. 6 Remove the base frame. 7 Remove the heat sink. 8 Remove the display assembly. Procedure 1 Peel off the power-adapter port cable from the palm-rest assembly. 2 Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the system board. 58
