Prerequisites NOTE: These instruction are applicable only to laptops with a nontouchscreen display. 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the battery. 3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in removing the hard drive. 4 Remove the fan. 5 Remove the keyboard. 6 Remove the base frame. 7 Remove the display assembly. 8 Remove the display bezel. 9 Remove the display brackets. 10 Remove the camera. Procedure Remove the display cable and camera cable from the routing guides on the display back-cover. 88
