Procedure 1 Align the screws on the cooling assembly with the screw holes on the system board. 2 Tighten the captive screws that secure the cooling assembly to the system board. 3 Connect the fan cable to the system board. 4 Connect the display cable to the system board. 5 Route the display cable through its routing guide on the fan. Postrequisites 1 Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 29. 2 Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 26 3 Replace the hard drive. Procedure
1
Align the screws on the cooling assembly with the screw holes on the
system board.
2
Tighten the captive screws that secure the cooling assembly to the system board.
3
Connect the fan cable to the system board.
4
Connect the display cable to the system board.
5
Route the display cable through its routing guide on the fan.
Postrequisites
1
Replace the base cover. See "Replacing the Base Cover" on page 29.

Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 26
