You must enter the Service Tag in the system setup after you replace the system board. Procedure. 1 Ease the ports on the system board into the slots on the computer base and place the system board in the computer base. 2 Align the screw hole on the system board to the screw hole on the computer base. 3 Replace the screw that secures the system board to the computer base. 4 Connect the camera cable to the system board. 5 Connect the power-adapter port cable to the system board. 6 Connect the hard-drive cable to the hard-disc connector. 7 Connect the speaker cable to the system board. 8 Slide the USB-board cable to the USB-board connector and press down on the latch to secure the cable. 9 Adhere the tape over the USB-board cable. 10 Turn the computer over. 11 Connect the power-button cable to the computer base. 12 Connect the touchpad-board cable to the computer base. 13 Connect the status-light cable to the computer base. NOTE:
Your computer’s Service Tag is stored in the system board. You must enter
the Service Tag in the system setup after you replace the system board.
Procedure.

Ease the ports on the system board into the slots on the computer base and place
the system board in the computer base.
2
Align the screw hole on the system board to the screw hole on the computer base.
3
Replace the screw that secures the system board to the computer base.
4
Connect the camera cable to the system board.
5
Connect the power-adapter port cable to the system board.
6
Connect the hard-drive cable to the hard-disc connector.
7
Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
8
Slide the USB-board cable to the USB-board connector and press down on the
latch to secure the cable.
9
Adhere the tape over the USB-board cable.
10
Turn the computer over.

Connect the power-button cable to the computer base.

Connect the touchpad-board cable to the computer base.

Connect the status-light cable to the computer base.
