Procedure 1 Place the display panel on a flat and clean surface. 2 Align the screw holes on the display-panel brackets with the screw holes on the display panel. 3 Replace the screws that secure display-panel brackets to the display panel. CAUTION: Make sure that no cables are under the display panel. 4 Align the screw holes on the display-panel brackets with the screw holes on the display bezel and adhere the display panel to the display bezel. 5 Replace the screws that secure the display-panel brackets to the display bezel. 6 Connect the display cable to the display panel and adhere the tapes to secure the display cable on the display panel. 7 Connect the display-backlight cable to the display panel. Post-requisites 1 Follow the instructions from step 7 to step 15 in "Replacing the System Board". 2 Replace the antenna. 3 Replace the wireless card. 4 Replace the power-status light board. 5 Replace the speakers. 6 Replace the battery. 69

Procedure
1
Place the display panel on a flat and clean surface.

Align the screw holes on the display-panel brackets with the screw holes
on the display panel.
3
Replace the screws that secure display-panel brackets to the display
panel.
CAUTION: Make sure that no cables are under the display panel.

Align the screw holes on the display-panel brackets with the screw holes
on the display bezel and adhere the display panel to the display bezel.

Replace the screws that secure the display-panel brackets to the display
bezel.
6
Connect the display cable to the display panel and adhere the tapes to
secure the display cable on the display panel.
7
Connect the display-backlight cable to the display panel.
