It is recommended that you note the BIOS settings before removing the coin-cell battery. Prerequisites 1 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 5 in "Removing the Stand Assembly". 2 Remove the back cover. 3 Remove the system-board shield. 4 Remove the heat sink. Procedure 1 Locate the battery socket on the system board. 2 Using the tab on the protective cover, lift the cover off the coin-cell battery. 62
