Procedure Only with computers shipped with AMD Ryzen 3/Ryzen 5/Ryzen 7 processors 1. Lay the computer on the left side and disconnect the fan cable from the system board. 2. Disconnect the processor-cooling assembly cable from the system board. 3. In sequential order (as indicated on the processor-cooling assembly), loosen the four captive screws that secure the processor-cooling assembly to the system board. 4. Remove the screw (6-32UNCx3.6) that secures the fan to the chassis. 5. Lift and release the fan from the chassis. 6. Lift the processor-cooling assembly along with the fan off the system board.
