• Make the changes using the System Profile Custom selection. • Set System Profile in BIOS to Custom mode. • Set CPU Power Management to Maximum Performance mode. • Set Turbo Boost mode to Enabled. You must enable DPAT with a controlledturbo command using one of the following modes: • Dell Remote Access Controller Admin (RACADM) • Web Services for Management (WSMAN) • Dell OpenManage Deployment Toolkit (DTK) Enabling DPAT Using RACADM (Firmware RACADM: SSH or Telnet Session) NOTE: Ensure that LC and CSIOR are enabled before performing the configuration. 1 Set ControlledTurbo to Enable by running the following command: $ racadm set bios.procsettings.controlledturbo Enabled 2 Create commit and host reboot jobs by using the jobqueue command: $ racadm jobqueue create BIOS.Setup.1-1 -r pwrcycle -s TIME_NOW -e TIME_NA 3 Reboot the server and run CSIOR for the setting to take effect. NOTE: The BIOS settings only take effect after you reboot the server and run CSIOR. Attribute value names are case sensitive.
