DCC/CI NOTE: You can also lock or unlock the OSD by pushing and holding the button for 15 seconds. Display Data Channel/Command Interface allows you to adjust the monitor parameters (brightness, color, balance, etc.) using software applications on your computer. You can disable this feature by selecting Disable. The following warning message appears: LCD Conditioning Select Yes to disable DDC/CI and No to exit with out making changes. NOTE: For best user experience and optimum performance of your monitor, keep this feature enabled. Helps reduce minor cases of image retention. Depending on the degree of image retention, the program may take some time to run. You can enable this feature by selecting Enable. The following error message appears: Select Yes to start LCD conditioning and No to quit without making changes. Factory Reset Resets the OSD menu options to the factory preset values. Reset All Setings: Changes all the user-adjustable settings including color, position, brightness, contrast, menu transparency, and OSD hold time to the factory defaults. The language of the OSD does not change. OSD Warning Messages The following warning messages may appear on the screen indicating that the monitor is out of synchronization. This means that the monitor cannot synchronize with the signal that it receives from the computer. Either the signal is too high or too low for the monitor to use. See Specifications for the Horizontal and Vertical frequency ranges addressable by this monitor. Recommended mode is 1440 X 900 @ 60Hz. NOTE: The floating Dell Self-test Feature Check dialog appears on-screen if the monitor cannot sense a video signal.
