Interactive Pen LED Guiding Signals PEN Status Description Indicator Green color Amber color Checking flow and items / times Normal Mode 1 Pen faces the screen with the link. Solid ON OFF Normal Mode 2 Pen doesn't faces the screen Flashing 0.02s but with the link. ON /1s OFF OFF Will enter Sleep Mode after 3 minutes Search for Open network mode When Pen searching for open network (Green LED flashing twice every 2 sec). After holding down Nib and Function button for 5 secs, the pen will change to this mode. Flashing 0.1s ON /0.1s OFF & 0.1s ON/1.7s OFF OFF If the pen doesn't pair with projector successfully, the pen will enter Sleep Mode after 3 minutes Search for Fixed When Pen searching for network mode fixed network. Flashing 0.3s ON /0.3s OFF If the pen doesn't pair with projector OFF successfully, the pen will enter Sleep Mode after 3 minutes Pairing mode After holding down Function button for 5 secs, the Green LED will blink 1 time each 0.15 secs (continued 10 seconds). Flashing 0.15s ON /0.15s OFF OFF If the pen pair with projector successfully, the pen will enter Pair successful mode. If the pen doesn't pair with projector successfully, the pen will enter Pair failed mode after 10 seconds. Pair successful mode When pen pair with projector successfully after pairing mode (Green and Amber LED will flash alternately continued 3 seconds). Flashing 0.3s Flashing 0.3s Enter pairing mode and pair ON /0.3s OFF OFF/0.3s ON successfully in 10 seconds Pair failed mode When pen pair with projector failed after pairing mode (Green and Amber LED will flash at the same time continued 3 seconds). Flashing 0.3s ON /0.3s OFF Flashing 0.3s Enter pairing mode and pair failed ON /0.3s OFF after 10 seconds Sleep mode Enter sleep mode for power saving purpose. Solid ON 3 sec. 1. Pen doesn't face the screen but with the link: will enter Sleep mode Solid ON 3 sec. after 3 minutes. 2. After searching for AP channel 3 cycles without a link, will enter Sleep mode. Low battery capability The pen battery is low. Two hours are left to run out of the battery. OFF Flashing 1s ON/1s OFF The MSP430 will check battery capacity in normal operation. This alert LED signal is shown if the battery capacity is low. Battery is exhausted and can not run PB The Photo sensor and RF module cannot work properly. Pen can not work normal. OFF Solid ON The pen battery is exhausted. Power only works for MSP430. The alert LED will appear 1 minute to save power and then enter Sleep mode. Pen cannot be used in this status.
