Replacing the Palm Rest

Use a plastic scribe to release the locking clips on both sides of the system board connector, and then gently pull to disconnect the touch pad connector from the system board connector. 9. Moving from left to right, carefully lift the palm rest along the rear edge, near the hinge brackets, then rotate the palm rest forward to remove it from the computer. computer.
