Removing the Coin-Cell Battery 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove : a) base cover b) battery 3. Perform the steps as shown in the illustration: a) Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from its connector on the system board. b) Unroute the coin-cell battery cable from the routing channel. c) Lift and remove the coin-cell from the computer. 13

Removing the Coin-Cell Battery

Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer

2.
Remove :
a)
base cover
b)
battery
3.
Perform the steps as shown in the illustration:
a)
Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from its connector on the system board.
b)
Unroute the coin-cell battery cable from the routing channel.
c)
Lift and remove the coin-cell from the computer.
