If your browser has a proxy configuration, you can configure a captive portal proxy server or a global proxy server in the guest SSIDs for captive portal clients. Configurable ESSID in WLAN profile W-IAPs now support the configuration of the ESSID profile names along with the Name (SSID) field in WLAN wizard. You can now change the ESSID of a WLAN network profile without deleting or recreating the profile from scratch. You can also search for clients connected to an SSID using the ESSID name. Captive portal server offload This feature reduces the load on the external captive portal server by ensuring that the non-browser client applications are not unnecessarily redirected to the external portal server. Configuration of transmission power limits for radio profiles The Customize ARM power range is added to the radio profile configuration window to allow administrators to set transmit power limits for a specific radio band. Configuring Dynamic RADIUS Proxy Parameters For Dynamic RADIUS proxy (DRP) configuration and IAP-VPN deployments, you no longer need to configure the Virtual Controller IP address. Support for multiple XMLAPI server configuration Users can now configure up to 4 XML API server entries on an W-IAP. These server entries can be edited or deleted if required. Frame overlay prevention support for external captive portal users The Prevent frame overlay field is added to enable displaying of a web page only if it is in the same domain as the main page. Enabling DNS-based Discovery of the Provisioning AMP server W-IAPs can now automatically discover the provisioning W-AirWave server if zerotouch provisioning fails, and transfer W-AirWave configuration to the W-IAP. Support for SIM PIN Lock W-IAPs support SIM PIN LOCK function for 3G/4G modems that support the SIM locking feature to prevent fraudulent use. When SIM PIN lock is enabled, The modem SIM will be locked. The W-IAPs can also unlock the modem during when the related unlock command is executed. RadSec certificate support You can upload RadSec and RadSec CA certificates to W-IAP. These certificates are required for client authentication when RADIUS comunication over TLS is enabled. Custom error page for web access blocked by AppRF policies The W-IAPs allow you to create a custom list of redirect URLs to which the users can be redirected when they access the blocked websites. Automatic retrieval of configuration from a remote server The W-IAPs support managed mode operations such as periodic retrieval of configuration files from a specific location. Captive portal support for
web servers with HTTP
proxy configured
W-IAPs now support the configuration of ports that match your browser
configuration. If your browser has a proxy configuration, you can configure a captive
portal proxy server or a global proxy server in the guest SSIDs for captive portal
clients.
Configurable ESSID in
WLAN profile
W-IAPs now support the configuration of the ESSID profile names along with the
Name (SSID) field in WLAN wizard. You can now change the ESSID of a WLAN
network profile without deleting or recreating the profile from scratch. You can also
