Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

Remove the screws that secure the system board to the palm-rest assembly.

Carefully lift the system board and turn it over.
7
Lift the connector latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.

Lift the system board off the palm-rest assembly.
