Procedure 1 Remove the screw that secures the card-retention bracket to the chassis. 2 Lift and slide the card-retention bracket out of the chassis. NOTE: Your graphics card may have power-cable connectors. 3 Press the releasing clip on the power-cable connectors and disconnect the power cables from the graphics card, if applicable. 4 Locate the graphics card (SLOT1 or SLOT4) on the system board and make note of the graphics-card slot. Prerequisites

Remove the
computer cover
.

Remove the
graphics-card bracket
.
Procedure
1
Remove the screw that secures the card-retention bracket to the chassis.

Lift and slide the card-retention bracket out of the chassis.
NOTE:
Your graphics card may have power-cable connectors.
3
Press the releasing clip on the power-cable connectors and disconnect
the power cables from the graphics card, if applicable.

Locate the graphics card (SLOT1 or SLOT4) on the system board and
make note of the graphics-card slot.
