ENGLISH Advanced Setup - Part 1 Setting the Volume Control This sets the volume level of output. 1 2 Limit -10dB Advanced Setup - Part 1 3 Press ENTER or H to enter the setting and switch to the Auto Surround Mode setting. 1 Press D H to select the item, then press F G to set. 3 P.On L A S T Volume Limit: Set the volume's upper limit. • 0 dB, -10 dB, -20 dB: The volume cannot be increased above the selected levels. • OFF: If you do not want to set a volume limit, select "OFF". In this case, the volume can be set to the AVR-1707's maximum volume (output) level of +18 dB, which is extremely loud. Power On Volume Level: • LAST: The volume set when the AVR-1707 was last used is stored in the memory and set when the power is turned on Mute): The volume is always muted when the power is turned on. • -80 dB ~ +18 dB: Set the volume level when the power is turned on. You can adjust the MAIN ZONE volume level within the range of -80 to +18 dB (and ZONE2 volume level within the range of -70 to +18 dB). Muting Level: Set the level of volume attenuation in the mute mode. • FULL: The volume is fully muted. • -40 dB, -20 dB: The volume is lowered 40 dB or 20 dB from the current level. 2 Press ENTER or H to enter the setting and switch to the 2ch Direct/Stereo Custom setting. 4 Mute F U L L 2 5 2ch Cstm O F F Setting the 2ch Direct/Stereo Custom Make the 2-channel direct mode and stereo mode speaker settings. 1 Press F to select "ON", then press H. 2 Press D H to select the item, then press F G to set. Large: Select this when using large speakers with ample low frequency reproduction capabilities. Small: Select this when using small speakers without ample low frequency reproduction capabilities. Yes, No: Select "Yes" when a subwoofer is connected, "No" when no subwoofer is connected. LFE (Normal): For any channel(s) that are set to "Large", low frequencies in that channel's corresponding source are directed to that loudspeaker only. The low frequencies played from the subwoofer are only the LFE signals and the low frequencies of channels set to "Small".
