ENGLISH Basic Operation About discs containing DivX® format files CD and DVD discs containing digital images recorded in DivX® format can be played. DivX®: A digital video compression technology with DivX® video coding by DivX Networks Inc. 1 Load a disc containing files in DivX® format. 2 Use [D H F G] to select the folder you want to play, then press [ENTER]. 3 Use [D H F G] to select the file you want to play, then press [ENTER] or 1. • Playback starts. 1 ¢ To change the folder to be played: In the stop or resume mode, press [RETURN], and select the folder again. ¢ To change the file to be played: In the stop or resume mode, use [D H F G] to select the file again. ¢ Playing in random order: In the stop mode, press [RANDOM], then press 1. ¢ Playing in repeat order: Press [REPEAT]. FILE REPEAT OFF FOLDER REPEAT ALL REPEAT ¢ Switching the time display: Press [DISPLAY] during playback. Elapsed time per track (SINGLE ELAPSED) Remaining time per track (SINGLE REMAIN) Basic Operation About discs containing still picture files Use this procedure to play JPEG format files recorded on CD-R/CDRW discs or Picture CDs or Fujicolor CDs as slideshows. Playing a disc containing files in JPEG format 1 Load a disc containing still picture files in JPEG format. 2 Use [D H F G] to select the folder you want to play, then press [ENTER]. 3 Use [D H F G] to select the file you want to play, then press 1. • Playback starts. 1 2 2 3 • The DVD-2930CI can play [discs containing] up to 255 folders and 1000 files. • Note that depending on the software used for burning and other conditions, some files may not play or display correctly. • The DVD-2930CI is compatible with DivX® audio sampling frequencies (fs) of 8 to 48 kHz. • The DVD-2930CI is not compatible with motion compensation technology (GMC) or PCM Audio. 38 ENGLISH
