Playing MP3 or WMA files Listening to MP3 or WMA files in random order (Random folder/disc play) 1 Perform steps 2-1 or 2-2 under "Playing MP3 or WMA files". 2 When in the folder mode: Use [FOLDER MODE] to turn on the "FLD" indicator, -1 then use [D H] to select the folder to be played. • The selected folder is displayed. 2 About the disc mode: Use [FOLDER MODE] to turn off the "FLD" indicator, -2 then use 8 or 9 to select the file to be played. • The selected file is displayed. 3 Press or [1]. • The file name, title/artist name and title/album name scroll on the display and playback starts. The title name, artist name and album name are only displayed if that information is recorded on the disc. [TIME/DISPLAY] can be used to switch the information displayed. 2 Press [RANDOM]. • The "RANDOM" indicator lights. 3 Press or [1]. • Either the files in the selected folder or all the files on the disc are played in random order. ¢ To cancel the folder/disc random play mode: Stop playback, then press [RANDOM]. The "RANDOM" indicator turns off. • If [REP 1/ALL] is pressed during random playback, the tracks are played once in one random pattern, then played again in a different order. Enjoy listening to them in a different order each time.
