Turning the Laser Off Maintenance E Slide the Power/Transport Lock switch to the OFF position (Figure A 2 ) when the laser is not in use. If the switch is not placed in the OFF position, the laser will not turn off. • When the laser is not in use, clean the exterior parts with a damp cloth, wipe the laser with a soft dry cloth to make sure it is dry, and then store the laser in the kit box provided. Using the Pivot Bracket • Although the laser exterior is solvent resistant, NEVER use solvents to clean the laser.
