Issue Air conditioner is cooling but room is too warm, NO ice is forming on cooling coil behind decorative front Air conditioner turns on and off rapidly Noise when unit is cooling Possible Cause Open doors, windows, etc. Unit recently turned on in hot room Dirty air filter, air restricted Outside temperature extremely hot Air movement sound, this is normal Solution Open = cold air escapes. Close doors, windows, etc. Allow additional time to remove "stored heat" from walls, ceiling, floor and furniture. Clean air filter. Set FAN speed to a higher setting to bring air past cooling coils more frequently. If too loud, set to a slower FAN setting. Window vibration due Refer to installation to poor installation instructions. Water dripping INSIDE when unit is cooling Remote not sensing Room too cold Improper installation Unit removing large quantity of moisture from humid room Remote control not located within range Remote control signal obstructed Set temperature too low Tilt air conditioner slightly to the outside to allow water drainage. This is normal during excessively humid days. Place remote control with 20 feet and 180 degrees radius of the front of the unit. Remove obstruction. Increase set temperature.
