HOW TO CLEAR A BLOCKAGE AND MAINTAIN FLOOR NOZZLE ENGLISH CAUTION: Always unplug vacuum cleaner before cleaning hose or nozzle. The vacuum cleaner may stop automatically if the nozzle, wand or filters become blocked. If this happens, unplug and allow the vacuum to cool for 20 to 30 minutes. Clearing the wand and hose 1. Use a rod or similar blunt implement to clear a blockage in wand or hose. 2. Sometimes an obstruction can be cleared 1 by squeezing or flexing the hose. Use extreme care if there is a risk that glass, nails or other sharp objects could be 2 imbedded in the hose. Note: Warranty does not cover any damage to the hose caused by cleaning it. Cleaning the floor nozzle 3. Clean hard floor and rug nozzle frequently to avoid deterioration of suction power. Use crevice tool to remove dust balls, hair or objects that may be entangled. 4. Clean turbo nozzle by vacuuming with crevice tool. Use scissors to snip threads 3 or hair entangled in the brush roll, then vacuum away. 4 Storing and carrying 1. To carry canister, lift with top handle. Never use dust cup to carry canister. 2. When you pause during cleaning, park floor nozzle by slipping ridges into slot on back of canister. 2 3.
