4 | Replacing the Ink and Chip Unit 3. Insert a finger into the groove on the top of the slider and pull it straight out. Caution: Do not tilt the slider. If the chip unit is dropped, it may break. 4. Remove the chip unit from the slider. 5. Confirm that the color of the label on the slider matches the color of the label on the new ink pack. Then attach the chip unit supplied with the new ink pack to the slider.
