Software Settings This section describes the basic settings of the software required for using the product (PP-100II/PP-100/PP-100AP/ PP-50) after the setup. (For the setup procedure, see Setup Guide for Mac.) Installing Software The installation procedure installs the following software on your PC. (For the installation procedure, see Setup Guide for Mac.) • EPSON Total Disc Utility This software is used to set up the product and check the product status from your PC. • EPSON Total Disc Maker This software is used to edit the write data* and the print data for the label surface and to publish using this product. • Printer driver * Editing write data is not available with the PP-100AP. • Important Note You may use the software to operate the EPSON products. You may use the EPSON products to copy materials onto media, including but not limited to CDs and DVDs. You agree to respect the rights of copyright owners. EPSON shall have no liability for, and you shall hold EPSON harmless from, any copyright infringement by you or your employees, representatives or agents. • Be sure to install the software by following the procedure in Setup Guide for Mac. • The product cannot be used as a shared printer using the Mac sharing setting. • The product cannot be used by more than one user using the Mac fast user switching. • The operation of the product using Apple Remote Desktop is not guaranteed. 26

Installing Software

EPSON Total Disc Utility
This software is used to set up the product and check the product status from your PC.

product.
