The certificates must be signed by and obtained from a CA (Certificate Authority). Self-signed Certificate A self-signed certificate is issued and signed by the product itself. You can use the certificate for only SSL/TLS communication, however security is unreliable and you may see a security alert in the browser during use. Select one of the following network security options and corresponding certificates: • SSL/TLS and select Certificate • IPsec/IP Filtering and select Client Certificate • IEEE802.1X and select Client Certificate 3.
