Important Safety Instructions General Safety and Daily Use It is important that you use your appliance safely and that you follow the safety guidelines below. • Store any food in accordance with the storage instructions from the manufacturer. • Don't use mechanical devices or means other than those recommended by the food manufacturer to speed up the thawing process. • Don't try to repair the appliance yourself. It is dangerous to alter or modify this product in any way. • Be careful not to damage refrigeration circuits or the unit's power cord. Any damage to the cord may cause a short circuit and could potentially lead to electric shock or fire. • Do not place food directly against the air outlet on the rear wall of either the refrigerator or freezer compartment, as this could affect proper air circulation. • Do not place hot items near the plastic components of this appliance. • Frozen food must not be refrozen once it has been thawed out. • Don't store carbonated drinks or glass bottles containing liquid in the freezer as they can burst. • Do not eat extremely cold ices or food as they can produce burns in the mouth. • To avoid items falling and causing injury or damage to the appliance, do not overload the door racks or put too much food in the crisper drawers.
