INPUTS- Plug your guitar into one of these jacks. Input 2 has lower sensitivity (-6dB), providing cleaner response with high output/preamplified guitars. B. CHANNEL SELECT-Press to switch channels as indicated by the LED. Normal channel -use top row controls Drive channel -use bottom row controls C. VOICE- Press IN to add crisp, high-frequency brightness to the Normal channel. D. GAIN-Use to adjust the amount of distortion in the Drive channel, then adjust the Volume. E. VOLUME-Adjusts the loudness of each channel. F. TREBLE / MID / BASS-Adjusts the tone character of each channel. G. EFFECTS LEVEL-Adjusts the amount of the effects in each channel. To turn OFF effects: rotate fully counterclockwise or use the Footswitch {R}. H. EFFECTS SELECT-Selects the active effect for each channel. See Effects Descriptions on page 8. I. TUNER/MUTE-Press to disable all audio output from the amplifier; useful for silent tune-ups. LED flash- es when selected. J. PHONES-Plug your headphones in here; speaker outputs are automatically disabled. K. POWER INDICATOR- Illuminates when the unit is on. Flashes if the unit detects an overload condi- tion such as a faulty speaker cable, improper connection over tempurature, or incorrect speaker impedance. The unit will automatically try reseting, but if an overload condition still exists after 5 attempts, the unit will remain in protection mode until powered OFF. Remove the over- load condition then switch the power back ON; if this LED still flashes, take the unit to an authorized Fender® service center. If the Power Indicator does not illu- minate, check the fuse. If the fuse is good, leave the unit unplugged for 15 minutes to allow the power supply to reset. If that fails, take the unit to an authorized Fender® service center. 6 ◊ ◊

INPUTS—
Plug your guitar into one of these
jacks. Input ± has lower sensitivity (–²dB), providing
cleaner response with high output/preamplified guitars.

CHANNEL SELECT—
Press to switch channels as indi-
cated by the LED.
Normal channel
—use top row controls
Drive channel
—use bottom row controls
C.
VOICE—
Press IN to add crisp, high-frequency bright-
ness to the Normal channel.
D.

Use to adjust the amount of distortion in the
Drive channel, then adjust the Volume.
