8 DOOR REMOVAL 6. Using a 5/16 in. socket, unscrew the center hinge pin. Open the refrigerator door 90º, and, by hand, remove the pin, and lift the door off the bottom hinge pin. IMPORTANT Place the door on a padded surface to avoid damage. 7. Using a T25 Torx Head screwdriver, remove the 3 center hinge screws, and set center hinge aside (see Figure 2). Using a putty knife gently remove the 3 center hinge hole covers (see Figure 4A) and install on the opposite side of the cabinet (see Figure 4B). A B Figure 4 15. With a flathead screwdriver, pry out the center hinge bearing from the top of the refrigerator door (see Figure 5A). 16. With a flathead screwdriver, pry out the center hinge bearing plug from the opposite side of the refrigerator door (see Figure 5B). B Figure 2 8. By hand, remove the bottom hinge cover from both sides (open on the sides and pull up). 9. Using a T20 Torx Head screwdriver, remove the door stopper screw, and remove door stopper (see Figure 3). 10. Using a 5/16 in. socket, unscrew the bottom hinge pin (see Figure 3). 11. Reinstall the bottom hinge pin in the left side hole on the left side hinge (see Figure 3). 12. Flip the door stopper. Reinstall the door stopper on top of the bottom hinge with the screw (see Figure 3). Figure 3 A Figure 5 17. Reinstall the center hinge bearing in place of the plug removed in previous step. Using a hammer, gently tap it all the way in. 18. By hand, reinstall the center hinge bearing plug on the opposite side of the door. 19. Flip the refrigerator door over and, using a Phillips Head screwdriver, remove the screw from the door closer and set aside (see Figure 6B).. 20. With a flathead screwdriver, pry out the bottom hinge bearing from the refrigerator door (see Figure 6A). 21. Using a hammer, gently tap the bottom hinge bearing all the way in on the opposite side of the door (see Figure 6C). 22. Flip the door closer over and install on the opposite side of the door (see Figure 6C).

Using a 5/16 in. socket, unscrew the
center hinge pin. Open the refriger-
ator door 90º, and, by hand, remove
the pin, and lift the door off the
bottom hinge pin.

Using a T25 Torx Head screwdriver,
remove the 3 center hinge screws,
and set center hinge aside (see
Figure 2).

By hand, remove the bottom hinge
cover from both sides (open on the
sides and pull up).
9.
Using a T20 Torx Head screwdriver,
remove the door stopper screw, and
remove door stopper (see Figure 3).
10. Using a 5/16 in. socket, unscrew the
bottom hinge pin (see Figure 3).
11.
Reinstall the bottom hinge pin in the
left side hole on the left side hinge
(see Figure 3).
12. Flip the door stopper. Reinstall the
door stopper on top of the bottom
hinge with the screw (see Figure 3).

13. Install the bottom hinge covers.
14. Using a putty knife gently remove the
3 center hinge hole covers (see Fig-
ure 4A) and install on the opposite
side of the cabinet (see Figure 4B).

15. With a flathead screwdriver, pry out
the center hinge bearing from the
top of the refrigerator door (see
Figure 5A).
16. With a flathead screwdriver, pry out
the center hinge bearing plug from
the opposite side of the refrigerator
door (see Figure 5B).
17. Reinstall the center hinge bearing
in place of the plug removed in pre-
vious step. Using a hammer, gently
tap it all the way in.
18. By hand, reinstall the center hinge
bearing plug on the opposite side of
the door.
19. Flip the refrigerator door over and,
using a Phillips Head screwdriver,
remove the screw from the door
closer and set aside (see Figure 6B)..
20. With a flathead screwdriver, pry out
the bottom hinge bearing from the
refrigerator door (see Figure 6A).
21. Using a hammer, gently tap the
bottom hinge bearing all the way in
on the opposite side of the door (see
Figure 6C).
22. Flip the door closer over and install
on the opposite side of the door (see
Figure 6C).
