The Power Boost (P) setting is only available immediately after activating a cooking zone by pressing the + key. The cooktop will remain in Power Boost for up to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the cooking zone will automatically change to the High (H) setting. The size and type of utensil used and the amount and type of food being cooked will influence the setting needed for best cooking results.
