Popcorn chart FOOD AMOUNT PROCEDURE Popcorn 1 package Use only popcorn packaged for the microwave. Try several brands to Regular: 3.0 - 3.5 oz, 85 - 100 g decide which you like. Do not try to pop unpopped kernels. The amount Snack: 1.5 - 1.75 oz, 45 - 50 g is selected by pressing the pad once (Regular) or twice (Snack). Vegetables • Suppose you want to cook vegetables. Green beans 0.25 - 1.5 lb, 0.2 - 0.6 kg Winter squash - diced 0.25 - 1.5 lb, 0.2 - 0.6 kg - halves 1 - 2 Place in casserole. Add 1-4 tbsp. water. Cover with lid for tender vegetables. Use plastic wrap cover for tender-crisp vegetables. Press the vegetables pad twice. After cooking, stir, if possible. Let stand, covered, for 2 to 5 minutes. 3. Frozen Vegetables* 0.25 - 1.25 lb 0.2 - 0.5 kg Add no water. Cover with lid or plastic wrap. Press the vegetables pad three times. After cooking, stir and let stand, covered, for 3 minutes. * It is not necessary to enter amount or number. 14
