Resetting Your nüvi Depending on your nüvi model, you can reset your nüvi by pushing the RESET button on the bottom of the unit. caution: Do not reset your nüvi with a ballpoint pen or other sharp object, which can damage the unit or the battery. If your nüvi does not have a RESET button, slide the Power key to the on/off position and hold it for 8 seconds. Updating the Software 1. Go to www.garmin.com/products /webupdater, and download WebUpdater to your computer. 2. Connect the nüvi to your computer using the mini-USB cable. 3. Run WebUpdater, and follow the on-screen instructions. After confirming that you want to perform an update, WebUpdater automatically downloads the update and installs it on your nüvi. Clearing User Data caution: This deletes all userentered information. 1. Hold your finger on the lower-right corner of the nüvi screen while turning on the nüvi. 2. Keep your finger pressed until the pop-up window appears. 3. Touch Yes to clear all user data. All original settings are restored. Resetting Your nüvi
