Utensils are not secure • Make sure evergthing is secured in dishwashec in rack or something small has dropped into rack Rattling dishes when the spray arm rotates • Hake sure dishes are properlg loaded. Seethe Loading the dishwasher rocks section. Motor hums This is normal • Dishwasher has not been used on a regular basis. If Sou do not use sour dishwasher often, set it to fill and pump out once everg week. This will help keep the seal moist. • A small amount of clean water around the outlet on the tub bottom at the back of the tub keeps the water seal lubricated. Drain is clogged • If Sou have an air gap, clean it. • Checkto seeif sour kitchen sink is draining well. If not, Sou mag need a plumbe_ • If the dishwasher drains into a disposer,run disposer clea_ Correct detergent wasn't used • Use onlg automatic dishwasher detergents to avoid sudsing. Cascade®,Cascade_ Complete and Electraso®l Automatic Dishwashing Detergents have been approved for use in all GEdishwashers. • To remove suds from the tub, open the dishwasher and let suds dissipate. Add ! gallon of cold water to the tub. On Modelswith a Dial: Close and latch the dishwashe_ Pump out water bg slowlg turning the Dial until a drain period is reached. Repeat if necessarg. On Models with ElectronicControl: Pump out water bg pressing the START/RESEpTad, then 10 seconds later,press START/RESETpaadgain. Repeat if necessarg. Rinse agent was spilled • Alwags wipe up rinse agent spills immediatelg. Some tomato-based • Use of the RINSEONLYcgcle after adding the dish to the load foods can cause reddish can decrease the level of staining.
