AHCI Configures the SATA controllers to AHCI mode. Advanced Host Controller Interface (AHCI) is an interface specification that allows the storage driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features such as Native Command Queuing and hot plug. SATA Port0-3 Native Mode (Intel P55 Chipset) Specifies the operating mode of the integrated SATA controllers. Disabled Allows the SATA controllers to operate in Legacy IDE mode. In Legacy mode the SATA controllers use dedicated IRQs that cannot be shared with other device. Set this option to Disabled if you wish to install operating systems that do not support Native mode. Enabled Allows the SATA controllers to operate in Native IDE mode. Enable Native IDE mode if you wish to install operating systems that support Native mode. (Default) USB Controllers Enables or disables the integrated USB controllers. (Default: Enabled) Disabled will turn off all of the USB functionalities below. USB Legacy Function Allows USB keyboard to be used in MS-DOS. (Default: Enabled) USB Storage Function Determines whether to detect USB storage devices, including USB flash drives and USB hard drives during the POST. (Default: Enabled) Turbo SATA3 / USB3.0 (Marvell 9128 /NEC USB 3.0 Controller) Determines whether to set the PCIe speed of the Marvell 9128 or NEC USB 3.0 controller to PCIe Gen 2. Please note that when only one graphics card is installed on the PCIEX16_1 slot, it will operate at up to x8 mode if either one of the two controllers is set to PCIe Gen 2. The two controllers will be automatically set to PCIe Gen 1 when two graphics cards are installed on the PCIEX16_1 and PCIEX8_1 slots. Auto Lets the BIOS automatically configure this setting, depending on the device installed. (Default) Turbo SATA3 Sets the PCIe speed of the Marvell 9128 controller to PCIe Gen 2. Turbo USB3.0 Sets the PCIe speed of the NEC USB 3.0 controller to PCIe Gen 2. Disabled Disabled forces the Marvell 9128 and NEC USB 3.0 controllers to PCIe Gen 1.
