Using The Optical Disc Drive Your computer comes with an optical disc drive, which supports music CDs, video CDs and DVDs. You can also use it to burn CD-R/CD-RW or DVD±R/DVD+RW/DVD-RW/DVD-RAM discs. The following tables show which formats are supported by the optical disc drive.
