Back up all important system and data files before performing any hardware configuration. 2. Turn off the system and all the peripherals connected to it. 3. Unplug all cables from the power outlets. 4. Disconnect all telecommunication cables from their ports. 5. Place the system unit on a flat and stable surface. 6. Open the system according to the instructions. Warning! Failure to properly turn off the server before you start installing components may cause serious damage. Do not attempt the procedures described in the following sections unless you are a qualified service technician. 11
