XHCI Mode Configure XHCI (USB2.0) Mode. Options available: Auto/Disabled. Default setting is Auto. Intel ME FW Update Enable/Disable Intel ME firmware update. Options available: Enabled/Disabled. Default setting is Disabled. Please note that when the ME is locked, you need to enable this item for ME firmware update. For detail Intel ME firmware update procedure, please see the following section. 2-3-1 Intel ME Firmware Update Procedure Intel ME Firmware Update Procedure: 1. Boot up your system and enter the BIOS setup screen. 2. Select Chipset menu, select Intel ME FW Update and set this item to Enabled. 3. Save and reset system. 4. System rebooting automatically, and re-enter the BIOS setup screen. 5. Press power button to power off system. (Do not plug-off the power cable) 6. Power on system and boot to DOS screen. 7. Intel ME Firmware Update Procedure:
1.
Boot up your system and enter the BIOS setup screen.
2.
Select
Chipset
menu, select
Intel ME FW Update
and set this item to
Enabled
.
3.
Save and reset system.
4.
System rebooting automatically, and re-enter the BIOS setup screen.
5.
Press power button to power off system. (Do not plug-off the power cable)
6.
Power on system and boot to DOS screen.
7.
Using Intel flash tool to flash Intel ME firmware.
