The Wi-Fi compartment contains the Wireless LAN card (Not available in all configurations). The memory compartment contains the computer's memory modules. These are open vents for the fan to dissipate heat from the computer's internal components. Do not block these or place the computer in such a position that you inadvertently allow the outlets to become blocked. Do not cover the vents or place any object into or over the vents.
